CK Home Watch — Terms of Service for Home Watch Services
1. Scope of Services
CK Home Watch offers property monitoring services, providing non-invasive visual inspections for residential properties in the Cape Coral, Florida area. Our primary goal is to identify visible issues or irregularities and report them directly to the homeowner.
Our inspections do not include:
- Repairs, maintenance, or construction work
- HVAC servicing or plumbing repair
- Pest treatment or landscaping services
- Any activities requiring a state contractor license
When necessary, we may recommend qualified professionals for repairs, but final arrangements are made directly between the homeowner and that service provider.
2. Service Reports
Reports are based on conditions observed at the time of inspection. CK Home Watch is not responsible for issues that arise between scheduled visits or for hidden problems not reasonably visible during a routine inspection.
3. Access and Security
The homeowner is responsible for providing access to the property (keys, gate codes, alarm settings, etc.). CK Home Watch will take reasonable precautions to secure the property after each visit.
4. Limitation of Liability
While we take every precaution to provide accurate and reliable service, CK Home Watch is not liable for:
- Any losses or damages resulting from events outside our control (storms, floods, break-ins, mechanical failures, etc.)
- Pre-existing conditions or issues not visible during inspection
- Any third-party services arranged at the homeowner's request
Our total liability is limited to the cost of the specific visit or service in question.
5. Scheduling and Cancellations
We strive to maintain regular service schedules. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Additional fees may apply for emergency or off-hour requests.
6. Payment Terms
Payments are due as agreed in your service plan or invoice. Late payments may result in suspension of service until the account is current.
7. Privacy
Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. We do not share your information except as required by law or with your consent.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in Lee County, Florida.
